On the occasion of this year’s game fair in Essen, Germany,
a drawing will be held for all PlayCatan Premium members where you can
win
valuable prizes. If on November 10,
2008 at 12 noon CET you have a valid PlayCatan Premium Account, you
will automatically participate in the drawing.
The following prizes can be won: 3 “Settlers of
Catan” 3D Editions,
3 complete sets of Catan Viking wood figures for the Basic Game and all
expansions, and 10 Catan bath towels.
The winners of the prize drawing will be contacted
on
November 11, 2008.

Since September 24, 2008, Apple is distributing its most current Java update "Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 2". It updates, for Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard", the Java versions J2SE6 and J2SE5 – both suitable for the COW – to versions 1.6.0_07 and 1.5.0_16, respectively.

The title "Capital of Catan" is very important for the success of a city in the Catan Online World. To emphasize the importance of the title, additional tables will be available in the Town Hall and the Library, where all citizens can view the current status of his/her city in the competition to get the title for the next quarter. The changes will get active next week on Tuesday. Later an abbreviated version of those tables will also be added to the forum.
