"Realm of the Desert Sons," the newest board game by Klaus Teuber, has been adapted for the Catan Online World. Finally, it can be played in English language as well - we apologize for the delay.
Until the end of May, everyone registered at PlayCatan will be able to play the game. Starting in June, access to the game will be reserved for players with Premium Accounts.
It is easy to learn how to play the game, and if you like, you can run a mini tutorial while you are playing. However, you may need to play several times to reach a more profound understanding of the game.
Hence our recommendation that prior to your first game you take a look at the quick guide, to be found here at PlayClatan under Help/Service -> Instructions, and/or let Prof. Easy and his helpers introduce you to the game at www.profeasy.de (currently available in German language only).

On May 17th 2008, 2:15pm EST the first tournament for Desert Sons will
start. It will take place in the Tournament room and all COW members
with a premium account are invited to take part. Klaus Teuber has donated 10 very
attractive prizes for the best players. For more information and

"Realm of the Desert Sons", the newest boardgame by Klaus Teuber, has been launched inside the Catan Online World. However, currently it is playable in German language only.
Right now we are working hard to make it available in English as well real soon. We will inform you right here on this page as soon as the English version is online.

The winners of the tournament are:
1st place - Zauberswalde (Rate: 30.72)
2nd place - Räuberslust (Rate: 27.63)
3rd place - Siedlingen (Rate: 25.62)
This very well known "triumvirate" (see the result of the Winter Tournament 2007) were closely followed by Ziegenheim (Rate: 23.12), Münzweiler (Rate: 22,69), and Erzberg (Rate: 20.75).
Number one is Lehmerin from Zauberswalde with 101 games during the three days. After that follow morgenstern (Räuberslust), Lubazee (Zauberswalde), Pointy (Zauberswalde), krischi (Räuberslust), Catty (Rittersbrunn), and Klawitter (Zauberswalde) with more than 70 games finished for their cities.
Congratulations to the winners and many thanks to all participants!

On Thursday, April 17, after finishing the current test phase, you will
be able to play the English version of Klaus Teuber’s new board game
“Realm of the Desert Sons” in the Catan Online World! (The German
version can be accessed one day earlier.) The game for 3 to 4 players
will be available for all users by the end of May.
