Important Actions: Trading Money and Resources

If no citizen is near for trading, you can visit the Bank. At the Bank, you can trade three or two (starting at clothing level 8) resources of the same type for any other resource. The better your clothing, the better the exchange ratio. Click on the counter if you want to trade. Please note that you can trade at the Bank only once in 24 hours. As usual, you leave the room through the door and get information about the Bank by clicking on the Info Table.

Gold is a very special resource. At the Bank, you can trade it for any other resource at a 1:1 ratio.

The Coin Trader

In the lobby of the Bank, you will also find the Coin Trader. Also citizens with lower clothing levels can trade with him/her, even though they might have to listen to some derogatory comments. Once per day, the Coin Trader trades your resources for coins. A maximum of 3 resources per trade can be exchanged. The exchange rate you are getting for your resources depends on the resources on offer in your city and is recalculated every day. As an example, if many citizens are selling their lumber, the lumber has a lesser value and you get fewer coins for it. Afterwards, you can use the coins to buy goods at the General Store. The total amount of your coins is shown in your Status display in the Metaworld.

Please go through the upper door to get into the main room of the Bank. Through the lower door you get back to the Town View.
